Shukar’Allah for Shayukh like Shaykh AbdulKareem Yahya who translate such worthy teachings of Habib Umar Bin Hafiz and post them up for the world to gain benefit from.
In the Name of Allah, Most Merciful and Compassionate
As-salamu alaykum,
What follows is Habib Umar’s (Allah preserve him) talk from the mawlid last Thursday. It is quite time specific, but due to technical problems we were not able to get it transcribed immediately and there are also more omissions than usual. However the bulk of what he said comes through, insha’ Allah, and the essence of the message, namely to finish this year in a good way, is still relevant. One of the omissions was that he exhorted us to beg Allah to change our evil deeds of this year into good deeds. Please pray that He, the Most Merciful, does so for us and we’ll pray that He does so for all of you... [read full article]
Subhan’Allah. May Allah reward Habib Umar bin Hafiz and Shaykh AbdulKareem Yahya with affiya, shifa, and His Tawfeeq and Rahma for their dedication to spread the word of Islam. Allahumma Ameen.

Assalamu’alaikum wa rahmatullah
Allahumma amin ya Allah!
Ungrateful paupers like us are indeed blessed with the company of such amazing Shuyukh ma sha’ Allah.
Shaykh Abdul-Kareem (may Allah preserve & increase him) gave what we felt was the most powerful account yet of the Haba’ib at the commemoration of Dar al Mustafa’s 11th Anniversary last night. By Allah, we’ve never felt so moved and inspired into joining the ranks of the blessed Callers to Islam as we were when listening to the endless streaming of beautiful Haba’ib pearls ma sha’ Allah ma sha’ Allah. Wrapped in Allah’s enabling grace, the Shaykh captured the emotions of each speaker and translated so eloquently the words of Sayyidina Habib Umar to the guest speakers like Sayyidina Habib Muhammad ibn Sa’id from Kenya (may Allah preserve them all & allow us Muslims to benefit by them). It really felt like the listeners were there with them at the Dar :’)
We hope the recording will be made available to the public, in sha’ Allah…
Please keep this pauper in your du’as Starfish xx
Wassalaam

I find simultaneous translation to be truly fascinating and amazing. I would like to hear what our brother, Sidi Abdul-Karim, has done. May Allah reward him and help us to benefit from him… Amin.
