The word ’sameer’ is the one who spends his night talking. So the husband should be ’sameer’ to his wife and she should be ’sameera’ to him, by talking to one another before going to sleep.

Shaykh AbdulAziz Ahmed mentioned the above teaching whilst commenting on the Qasida Burdah in the Online Halaqa today. Subhan’Allah what a reflection within itself.
