Kitaba – Islamic Texts for the Blind (…launch of first production…)

For anyone who doesn’t know already Kitaba – Islamic Texts for the Blind is a social enterprise community project dedicated to empowering and promoting the growth and well being of visually impaired Muslims and their communities.

Alhumdulillah with the help of Islamic Village, Knowledge and Wisdom, and TheCuttingRoom.org, Kitaba has produced a translation of Mulla ‘Ali al-Qari’s collection of Forty Hadîth on the Excellence of the All-Clarifying Illuminating Qurân entitled Fayd al-Mu’în ‘ala jam il-Arbaîn fî fadl al-Qurân al-Mubîn.

This text is also being produced in Braille, large print, audio format and into a computer reader accessible text.

Insha’Allah the book will be launched at the event below (see poster) where we hope Shaykh Muhammad alYaqoubi, may Allah preserve him, will teach the first Hadîth:

the best of you is the one who studies Quran and teaches it.

If you require further information on Kitaba then please don’t hesitate to visit the website www.kitaba.org Likewise please keep the project in your much required duas. And Verily Allah Grants Success. Allahumma Ameen.
