Short note to self (Dhu’l Hijjah Related)

Dear self,

Remember two things to enhance yourself during these ten blessed nights:

I swear by the Fajr and the Ten Nights

(Quran- Surah Fajr: Ayah 1-2)

And …

The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:

There are no days during which good deeds are more beloved to Allah than these (ten) days.” He was then asked, “Not even jihad in the path of Allah?” He replied, “Not even jihad in the path of Allah, except for a person who goes out with his self and his wealth, and comes back with nothing.

[Al-Bukhari]

Verily Allah grants and pardons. Allahumma Ameen.

  1. asmakarif says:

The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said:

“Whosoever says during the first 10 days of Dhu’l Hijjah this supplication 10 times each day:

    – all of his future and past sins will be forgiven.”
