Qasida: O you who the affair is His…

Shaykh AbdulKareem Yahya translated the following Arabic Qasida from Tarim. We did our best to write up what he recited, though if there are any mistakes then all faults lie with me and may Allah forgive me and make me a better student. Allahumma Ameen.

I’m posting it here as a reminder to myself before anyone else:

O you who the affair (all of it) is His
You who sees the sinner and conceals him
You who created and provides
I see none other than The One
The One who provides
My provision is from my Lord and I am relaxed
The one who does not care about the dunya receives and is relaxed
No one effects, save Allah
He raises and lowers
The one who is with Allah, my Lord is with him.

It’s amazing how even when our teachers are so far away in distance they still have an ability to make a connection and provide us clarity through their proximity.

If anyone has the audio of this Qasida in Arabic then please don’t hesitate to send it to this very needy student. And Allah is The Best of Providers.

    Dear Sister,

Would you know the Arabic for this Qasidah?…Even the start of it?

This might help so I can find it insha Allah…

It may be in Mukh al-Ibadah…

I cant wait till I take the Risalah Muawanah course with the Shaykh…

Please keep me in your duas,

May Allah reward you with His Tawfeeq. Allahumma Ameen.

Unfortunately I don’t remember the Arabic as Shaykh recited it in a live session. Insha’Allah if the opportunity arose then we will ask him. Please keep him and his family in your duas.

Take care, keep smiling, and wasalaam alaykum wa rahmatullah

Hope your well in the ocular world 😉

I initially thought the qasidah was ‘Ya ‘Aalim asir minna’ one of the ones recited from the khulasa page 23 compiled by habib umar or in the mukh al ibadah. But it doesnt exactly translate to the words above…the search continues!
